Chris Kosterman
Chris Kosterman is the Associate Director of Bands at Rockwall Heath High School since 2006 where he co-directs the Symphonic and Concert Bands. Previously he was the Assistant Director of Bands at Cain Middle School for five years. He received his BMEd and Master of Music degrees from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. Kosterman is the former Director of Bands at Wheeler ISD (1981-83) and the Graduate Assistant Band Director at ETSU (1994-1996). His bands have earned numerous UIL Sweepstakes Awards and first divisions. In 2007 the RHHS Symphonic Band earned Best in Class honors at the Lone Star Music Festival in Richardson, Texas. He is a member of the Texas Music Educators’ Association, the Texas Bandmasters’ Association, and the Texas Music Adjudicators’ Association.
Mr. Kosterman resides in Rockwall with his wife Colleen who teaches sixth grade math at Amy Parks Heath Elementary. They have to sons, James and Rod.
