Tami Thornton
Tamara Thornton is an active band director, clarinet instructor, performer, adjudicator, and clinician in DFW metroplex and surrounding areas. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas.Mrs. Thornton spent three years as the Assistant Band Director for Shackelford Junior High in Arlington, Texas and one year as an Assistant Director for Cain Middle School in Rockwall before moving to her current position as an Assistant Director for Rockwall Heath High School where she co-directs the Symphonic and Concert Bands. She was won numerous UIL award and band festival competitions during her brief career.
During her free time, Tami has been working toward her private pilots license, enjoys roller blading and is an avid swing dancer.
