Our Story

Rockwall-Heath High School is located in Heath, Texas and is a part of the Rockwall Independent School District. The Mighty Hawk Band currently serves 250+ students who participate in marching band, four concert bands, percussion ensembles, and color guard. Students are offered additional performance opportunities through small and large chamber ensembles, full orchestra, pit orchestra, and two jazz ensembles. The middle school feeder programs for the Mighty Hawk Band are Cain and Rakow. The Mighty Hawk Band thrives on strong booster, administrative, and community support. 

Students in the Mighty Hawk Band have consistently earned Superior ratings at UIL Marching, Solo & Ensemble, and Concert & Sight Reading Contests. The Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble was recently invited to perform at the Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana in March 2026.
